About Our Team

Our founder Bernie, started Kohlfab out of his garage back in 1981 after retiring from the United States Air Force. His first 10 years in the Air Force was as an enlisted member until he went back to college and received his Aeronautical Engineering degree from Wyoming University. While in the Air Force, Bernie worked on the Harpoon Missile and received an Air Force Commendation Medal in 1970 for his work. When not at work, Bernie enjoys spending time on his property called “The Farm” by the family. He enjoys riding his tractor and spending time with his 23 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Linda has worked at Kohlfab since the beginning. She makes sure that Kohlfab stays on track with all of its projects. She is in charge of billing, customer service, accounts and receivables, and ordering and shipping. When things get busy, Linda is also skilled on the manufacturing side of the business and will get out there and help get the job done. She makes sure that customers feel like they are part of the Kohlfab family with her warm and friendly demeanor. When not at work, Linda loves to spend time with her children and grandchildren. On any given weekend, you can find Linda welcoming family and friends at “The Farm” for a cookout and fun in the pool.

Jeremy has grown up in Kohlfab, until he turned 18 and joined the United States Air Force. While in the Air Force, he deployed four times overseas to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Oman. Jeremy earned multiple Air Force and Navy Achievement Medals during these tours. During his time, Jeremy also earned two degrees in Construction Technology and Education from the Community College of the Air Force. After a 15 year career, he moved back to Ohio and is back home at Kohlfab. Here he helps customers figure out the most complex projects and loves learning new skills and techniques to provide customers with the best. When not at work, Jeremy enjoys spending time with his son and spoiling his nieces and nephews.

Stella takes her job of greeting all customers and getting pets very seriously. You can find her lounging and begging for treats all day. She is the goodest girl.
